On February 28th, 2009, Brittany, Andrew, and all their friends went to the Pearl. A week prior Andrew enlisted the help of his and her friends to set up his proposal at the Pearl, where they met. On that night, Andrew had the DJ play Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)", then he was handed the microphone and called Brittany to him from the dancefloor. He told the story of how they met there a year before. He then mentioned how people always say that you never find the one at a bar, but "he had found the one, and, tonight, I'm going to ask her to be the one". With that, he got on one knee and asked Brittany Ariana Sands to marry him.
She said yes.
The DJ then played Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence", the first song they both remember dancing to a year prior.
